Yukon... come and uncover a land that will leave a lasting impression on you.
People often ask me why I travel to the Yukon every March. Their impression is that it is cold and barren... but nothing could be farther from the truth. The temperatures are not that cold and the air is some of the cleanest in North America.
I try to describe it... I have lots of great photos to show them, but I came across this video the other day by Yukon Tourism... and they say a video is worth a thousand words...
But its just not the aurora that draws me back year after year... its the wildlife that I see that makes the journey there every March special.
The following is a photo gallery of animals that we get up close and personal with during our March trips.
In 2017 I have set up two separate workshops, one with Jeff Wendorff with more of a focus on wildlife. The other workshop is focused more on landscapes and Aurora.

Jeff and I both hope to see you in the Yukon next year...
