Panasonic LUMIX Storyteller

For those of you that know me, know I started my career with a 4/3rds camera. I was an Olympus shooter… I used that system for years, in fact, the first SLR camera I ever picked up was an Olympus OM1 back when I was in grade 9 photographing my brother, Chris, as a baby.

As I progressed in my shooting, I switched to Nikon, not because i wasn't happy with my 4/3rds system, it was a business decision, and have now been using that Nikon system ever since… and will always have my Nikon gear. Currently, I have the D800e and the D3… and soon to arrive, the new D500.

And when i put the Sigma lenses on my Nikon cameras, the tandem never fail to produce quality images in any weather conditions.

But when conversations with LUMIX started, I started to look more closely at their system, I talked to other photographers that shoot with the system, looked at photos online, read what the pixel peepers had to say, sat down with Lumix in their photo studio to talk in more depth about the cameras and accessories, and then a few weeks ago, gave the LUMIX system a healthy workout in the Yukon photographing landscapes, portraits and northern lights… yes, you read correctly… I have been shooting northern lights with a 4/3rds sensor. AND, getting some amazingly great images with the GX8, not to mention some 4K video.

So now that its official, I wanted to announce that I am proud to be working with Lumix here in Canada as one of their Lumix Storytellers.

I will now be traveling, and taking photos with my Nikon and great line up of Sigma lenses, as well as taking lots of photos, and 4K and HD video my Panasonic Lumix cameras and lenses.

So, now when you come with me on one of my trips, I will be well versed in Canon, Nikon, and 4/3rds cameras.

Here are the LUMIX products i will be carrying with me...
